Our
current software products were created prior to the release of Windows
Vista/Windows 7, thus these products were not created or intended for
use on these operating systems. Current software products from Prokup
Media are technically unsupported and cannot be officially guaranteed
to run properly on Vista/7 operating system. Based on our preliminary
tests, however, most users will have little or no issues installing and
using the software as designed on the 32 bit Vista/7 operating systems.
Possible known operational issues encountered are listed below along
with work-around solution recommendations where applicable. For issues
not listed, please contact Prokup Media tech support (815-223-7953 M-F
8:30am - 4:00pm CST) for assistance. Phone tech support for software
running on the unsupported Vista/7 operating system will be limited and
cannot guarantee a working resolution of the issue.
Note: At
this time, Software products from Prokup Media are incompatible with 64
bit Vista/7. Support for 64 bit Vista/7 is unavailable and not offered.

Description: “file read only” errors or accessibility issues

Around/Solution Recommendation: User permissions must be set to allow
file access.
- User must
be logged on as administrator
- Locate
installed program file folder (C:\Program Files\..)
- Right-Click
program file folder, click “Properties” from menu.
- Under
“Security” tab, click “Edit” to change permissions
- Select
user profile under “Groups or usernames”
- Under
“Permissions for users”, check (select) “Full Control”
- Click
“Apply”, close remaining windows.
